Rocky A. Burke

Rocky is an alumnus of Morehead State University graduating in 1977. He is a native of
Fleming County, graduated from Fleming County High School in 1973 and lived in
Flemingsburg until shortly after graduating from MSU. Rocky went on to serve in the United
States Air Force. He retired at the rank of Lt Colonel in 2008. In addition to his Air Force
career, Rocky worked in the public transit industry managing bus systems for various
municipalities. Most notably, he served as the General Manager of the public transit system in
Lexington, KY. Rocky is the son of the late James H. Burke and Margaret Ann Riley both of
Fleming County. He has three children Skip, Jared and Allison. Rocky is retired and lives in
Sarasota, Florida with his wife Barbara.
