Wilma J. Walker-Thompson

Dr. Wilma J. Walker, graduated with a BA from Morehead State in 1956. She later
completed her Master’s and Doctorate at the University of Kentucky. She was a professor
at Eastern Kentucky University and founded the aviation program. She is currently
retired from the teaching profession, but still actively working as a business owner and
real estate agent.

Harry E. Walker, father of the donor, attended Morehead Normal School in the early
1920’s.

Ola T. Walker, mother of the donor, graduated in education from Morehead State in
1954. She was a teacher in the Carter County School System.

James G. Walker, brother of the donor, graduated in education from Morehead State in
1955. He taught for two years and later retired from the real-estate profession.
