Bernard L. McKay Award of Excellence for LGBT Scholars

Recipients of this scholarship shall:
Be a full-time student
Be an incoming freshman
Self-identify as either Lesbian, Gay, or Transgendered (LGBT)
Have a minimum cumulative High School 3.0 GPA
Preference given to LGBT students from one of the following counties in Kentucky: Mason, Bracken, Robertson, or Fleming
Secondary preference will be given to LGBT students from MSU’s 22 county service region
Third preference given to LGBT students from anywhere in the Commonwealth of Kentucky
